Dances of Universal Peace
The 4th Sunday of every month
7:00-9:00pm
The Garden Sanctuary
3070 Prather Lane
Santa Cruz, CA
Come join Vanessa Hafiza and friends for this community dance experience that enhances mind-body-spirit awareness, and is a means for relaxation, peace, joy, growth, connection, healing and love. The Dances of Universal Peace are a moving meditation of divine light and bliss, inspired by the world’s many wisdom traditions. We do simple movements in a circle while singing positive chants and songs from many traditions and languages, accompanied by live music. As we move around the circle, sometimes from partner to partner, we allow our thoughts to fall away as we experience the Divine in each other and ourselves. Some dances are meditative; some are lively.
No experience is necessary; there are instructions before each dance and newcomers are always very welcome. A $5-10 donation is suggested, but no one is turned away due to lack of funds. All are warmly invited to join this heart-centered practice! www.dancesofuniversalpeace.org
